Here are a couple from the 1st of the 3 weddings I shot this weekend. First one was Friday at Orchard Creek with Joell Viscusi who is an outstanding banquet manager. Fernando Bustamante from Conway Productions was awesome as usual. Kira Keough & RJ you guys rock and were awesome to work with. Thank you!!
Though you think of where your gonna be for a wedding or commercial shoot, you have thoughts in your brain of what you want and how you want it to look, its only natural, when you get to the site that its not actually what you had visioned and now your rethinking quickly in your brain on how to attack it with 20 min to spare to get some nice shots of a cool location. Here I was hoping to be down by the water light house off in the background with waves splashing on the rocks. Well I couldn’t get to the water with time we had, you really had to kinda be a rock climber. So not only didn’t we get down by the water, we had to deal with harsh sun, so using a high powered strobe to light Katie Michaels and Andrew, we did a great job with a great exposure on the couple and keeping a rich blue sky. Slight post production to bring out the clouds and darken the sky. Overall, in the small amount of time, this is one of the many awesome shots from this Newport RI location.
Ok 2 weekends off of weddings, Americade tomorrow with some friends, Graduation Party for my daughter Sophia Sunday, and next Saturday I Fly through NYC in a Helicopter doing city shots from the sky for fun and Sunday back in another Helicopter flying over GE again doing aerials for them, and that one is work. Since Ive been so busy I never posted any teasers for Melissa Ramsey and John Pelletier which was May 15 at Birch Hill. As you can see by some of the pics we had a fun day. And so far every bride Ive had this year has been nothing but AWESOME, makes me love what I do!!!
Another great wedding and couple to work with along with Jeff from conway entertainment, and Mike Verenini and Kim at the Albany Country Club who always makes you feel at home. Went out to do my blue sky night shot with my ice light and then it poured and I had to scramble to set this up the best I could for a nice back lit rain shot. Tough shot dealing with RAIN, dress, umbrellas, flashes, camera and trying to stay dry. Challenge is fun!!
